In this exhibition, the earthly and the ethereal move together. Each painting carries its own pulse, a vibration between stillness and expansion, between the landscape we see and the spiritual depth that quietly exists beyond it.
The works are rooted in nature’s rhythms. The softness of water, the shifting light of the sky, the glow of fire and the grounding presence of the earth.
Through my art, I seek to create a space for warmth, clarity and inner stillness. A moment where the viewer can pause, breathe and return to themselves.

ABOUT
I’m Malin Sahlén (b. 1992), a Swedish intuitive artist based in Stockholm, working primarily with abstract oil painting.
My work is rooted in presence and I’m inspired by nature, inner & outer landscapes, and the subtle movements of energy that exist within and around us.
Through an intuitive, layer-by-layer process, I explore the meeting point between stillness and motion, the earthly and the ethereal, in harmony.

Grounded, At Peace and Frozen where featured in British Vogue, 2023.
I was deeply happy when British Vogue contacted me with an invitation to present my art in three different issues. It felt both significant and natural to say yes to the opportunity.
What made the experience even more meaningful was that it had begun long before. A year prior to the invitation, a strong inner experience arose within me, a clear feeling and a distinct vision of my art being shown there. I allowed that feeling to stay with me as I continued to create, without pushing anything forward or reaching out.
When the invitation later arrived, it became clear to me how powerful it is to listen inward and allow what wants to come to unfold in its own time. I accepted with deep joy, with the sense that something that had long lived within me was now taking form in the world.
There is something beautiful in those moments when a strong feeling and vision reveal themselves, and then meet reality in a natural way. When one dares to trust intuition, remain centered in one’s own energy, and allow life to move in its own rhythm, what is meant to come arrives, precisely when the time is right.
