HOME WITHIN is an artwork about coming home to the source of light within yourself.

In this painting, I wanted to portray the quiet place within us where we are allowed to land, exhale and reconnect with our own inner core. A place where the light no longer feels far away, but is allowed to sink in, rest and become a part of us.

The work opens through layers of golden yellow, ochre, terracotta, muted rose and soft earth tones. A quiet horizon moves through the painting and creates a meeting point between the luminous sky and the grounded, textured field below. To me, the horizon becomes a boundary between the spiritual and the physical, between the light we feel within us and the life we live here on earth.

The subtle vertical lines fall through the work like traces of energy slowly landing in the landscape. As if something from above is allowed to move downward, through the surface, through the body and through the feeling, until it becomes presence.

To me, HOME WITHIN carries the feeling of returning to the soul. Of no longer chasing the light outside yourself, but allowing it to awaken from within. It is about inner grounding, softness and trust. About living in connection with the place within us where we are most true.

The work invites the viewer into a calm and contemplative space, where the outer landscape becomes a reflection of the inner world. A place where warmth, stillness and light are allowed to exist together. A reminder that home is not only a place outside of us, but a state within us. Where we are allowed to rest. Where we are allowed to be. Where we are allowed to feel at home in both body and soul.
