About the artwork
CYCLES OF LIFE reflects on the natural rhythms and cycles that move through nature and through our own lives.
Inspired by the phases of the moon, the work explores the continuous movement between beginnings, growth, transformation, stillness and renewal. The new moon and full moon become symbols of these ever changing cycles, reminding us that life, like nature, is never truly still.
At the heart of the artwork, a luminous golden circle surrounds the new moon. It represents both the cyclical nature of life and a sense of presence within it. While everything around us continues to shift and evolve, there is an invitation to remain present and connected to ourselves.
The work reflects on our place within nature rather than apart from it. Just as the moon, the seasons and the natural world move according to their own rhythms, our lives unfold through cycles of their own. The choices we make shape the paths we take, while each phase carries its own meaning and possibility.
CYCLES OF LIFE is an invitation to reconnect with our own nature, to become more aware of the rhythms within and around us, and to move through life with presence and trust in its ever changing cycles.
